I caught the organizing bug from my grandmother at a very early age. Everything in her home was always organized to a T!  Although I was young, I recognized the peace and calmness I felt when I visited her home.  She inspired me in so many ways and she is one of the main reasons  "I Choose Organized" exists today.

When I moved to Colorado from my hometown in Iowa, I found a unique way to volunteer my time. I began using my gift of organization to help people transition into new spaces and realized I was making a huge impact on people's lives. There were many wonderful, caring people who suggested many  times that I should start my own business, as they felt I was talented at what I did. I took the advice into consideration, but life had other plans.  After we found out our family was moving to Florida, I put the idea of becoming a Professional Organizer on the back burner.

You know how they say "When one door closes, another one opens"? Well, the door opened and here I am, ready to re-create your space so you feel more peace, calmness, and clarity!
